I am a PhD student in the Learning Design and Leadership Program at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where I work with Professors Mary Kalantzis and Bill Cope.

My research interests lie in the area of digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques for online language learning and instruction. More precisely, I am investigating what is the role of AI in the implementation of translanguaging theory and practice in language learning educational settings (informal and formal).

As part of my research I have designed, implemented and taught the online Modern Greek courses at UIUC. Moreover, I was involved in the design of online courses for the study abroad programs and I have extensively used online learning platforms, such as CGScholar, Moodle and others.

Currently, I am a teaching assistant for online graduate courses in the Learning Design and Leadership Program at the College of Education, UIUC.
